تِلْكَ
آيَاتُ
الْكِتَابِ
وَقُرْآنٍ
مُّبِينٍ |

|
Awxlf-lw-i-kw; GMÖËlw exkeÔYê MÞìÿ I oÖþeÄ ÌKwkAwËdk AwtwZ| |
|
|
Alif-Lâm-Râ. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Book, and a plain Qur’ân. |
|

|
| |
رُّبَمَا
يَوَدُّ
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
لَوْ
كَانُواْ
مُسْلِمِينَ |
(2
|
|
ÌKwd oit KwËfkkw AwKwáqw KkËg Ìj, xK PiuKwk pZ, jxb Zwkw iÖoliwd pZ| |
|
|
Perhaps (often) will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allâh’s Will in Islâm Islâmic Monotheism, this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise]. |

|
|
| |
ذَرْهُمْ
يَأْكُلُواْ
وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ
وَيُلْهِهِمُ
الأَمَلُ
فَسَوْفَ
يَعْلَمُونَ |
(3
|
|
Awexd ÌQËr xbd ZwËbkËK, ÌLËt xdK Ggv ÌhwM KËk xdK Ggv Awmwt gøweÙZ awK×K| AxZ oZñk Zwkw ÌRËd ÌdËg| |
|
|
Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know! |

|
| |
وَمَا
أَهْلَكْنَا
مِن
قَرْيَةٍ
إِلاَّ
وَلَهَا
كِتَابٌ
مَّعْلُومٌ |
(4
|
|
Awxi ÌKwd Rdeb cgvo Kxkxd; xKìæ Zwk xdxbêÄ oit xlxLZ xQl| |
|
|
And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
مَّا
تَسْبِقُ
مِنْ
أُمَّةٍ
أَجَلَهَا
وَمَا
يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ |
(5
|
|
ÌKwd oóeÞbwt Zwk xdxbêÄ oiËtk AËMÞ jwt dw Ggv eúPwËZ awËK dw| |
|
|
No nation can anticipate its term, nor delay it. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
وَقَالُواْ
يَا
أَيُّهَا
الَّذِي
نُزِّلَ
عَلَيْهِ
الذِّكْرُ
إِنَّكَ
لَمَجْنُونٌ |
(6
|
|
Zwkw gll: Ìp z H gøx£ß, jwk eÞxZ ÌKwkAwd dwxjl pËtËQ, Awexd ÌZw GKRd Dóiwb| |
|
|
And they say: ”O you (Muhammad SAW ) to whom the Dhikr (the Qur’ân) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man. |
|

|
|
| |
لَّوْ
مَا
تَأْتِينَا
بِالْمَلائِكَةِ
إِن كُنتَ
مِنَ
الصَّادِقِينَ |
(7
|
|
jxb Awexd oZøgwby pd, ZËg AwiwËbk KwËQ ÌfËkmZwËbkËK AwËdd dw ÌKd? |
|
|
”Why do you not bring angels to us if you are of the truthful ones?” |
|
| |
|
|
| |
مَا
نُنَزِّلُ
الْمَلائِكَةَ
إِلاَّ
بِالحَقِّ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
إِذًا
مُّنظَرِينَ |
(8
|
|
Awxi ÌfËkmZwËbkËK GKiw¢ fwtowlwk RËdøB dwxjl Kxk| ZLd ZwËbkËK AgKwm Ìbtw pËg dw| |
|
|
We send not the angels down except with the truth (i.e. for torment, etc.), and in that case, they (the disbelievers) would have no respite! |

|
|
| |
إِنَّا
نَحْنُ
نَزَّلْنَا
الذِّكْرَ
وَإِنَّا
لَهُ
لَحَافِظُونَ |
(9
|
|
Awxi Ètv G DeËbm MÞìÿ AgZwkY KËkxQ Ggv Awxi xdËRB Gk ovkqK| |
|
|
Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption). |
|
| |
|
|
| |
وَلَقَدْ
أَرْسَلْنَا
مِن
قَبْلِكَ
فِي شِيَعِ
الأَوَّلِينَ |
(10
|
|
Awxi Awedwk eÔËgê eÔgêgZyê oóeÞbwËtk iËcø koÔl ÌeÞkY KËkxQ| |
|
|
Indeed, We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) amongst the sects (communities) of old. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
وَمَا
يَأْتِيهِم
مِّن
رَّسُولٍ
إِلاَّ
كَانُواْ
بِهِ
يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ |
(11
|
|
IËbk KwËQ Gid ÌKwd koÔl AwËodxd, jwËbk owËa Ikw Vw›wxg©Õe KkËZ awËKxd| |
|
|
And never came a Messenger to them but they did mock him. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
كَذَلِكَ
نَسْلُكُهُ
فِي
قُلُوبِ
الْمُجْرِمِينَ |
(12
|
|
GixdhwËg Awxi G ckËdk AwPkY eweyËbk AìæËk g¦iÔl KËk ÌbB| |
|
|
Thus do We let it (polytheism and disbelief) enter into the hearts of the Mujrimûn [criminals, polytheists, pagans, etc. (because of their mockery at the Messengers)]. |
|

|
|
| |
لاَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِهِ
وَقَدْ
خَلَتْ
سُنَّةُ
الأَوَّلِينَ |
(13
|
|
Ikw Gk eÞxZ xgmðwo KkËg dw| eÔgêgZêyËbk Gid kyxZ PËl AwoËQ| |
|
|
They would not believe in it (the Qur’ân), and already the example of (Allâh’s punishment of) the ancients (who disbelieved) has gone forth. |
|

|
|
| |
وَلَوْ
فَتَحْنَا
عَلَيْهِم
بَابًا
مِّنَ
السَّمَاء
فَظَلُّواْ
فِيهِ
يَعْرُجُونَ |
(14
|
|
jxb Awxi IËbk owiËd AwKwËmk ÌKwd bkRwI LÖËl ÌbB Awk ZwËZ Ikw xbdhk AwËkwpY I KkËZ awËK| |
|
|
And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to continue ascending thereto, |
|
| |
|
|
| |
لَقَالُواْ
إِنَّمَا
سُكِّرَتْ
أَبْصَارُنَا
بَلْ
نَحْنُ
قَوْمٌ
مَّسْحُورُونَ |
(15
|
|
ZgÖI Ikw GKawB glËg Ìj, AwiwËbk bÙxÄk xg¸wU NUwËdw pËtËQ dw gkv Awikw jwbÖMÞþæ pËt eËrxQ| |
|
|
They would surely say: ”Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled. Nay, we are a people bewitched.” |
