  يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاء وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءلُونَ بِهِ وَالأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا  (1

ÌZwikw ÌZwiwËbk ewldKZêwËK ht Kk, xjxd ÌZwiwËbkËK GK gøx£ß ÌaËK oÙxÄ KËkËQd Ggv xjxd Zwk ÌaËK Zwk oŠydyËK oÙxÄ KËkËQd; Awk xgþæwk KËkËQd ZwËbk bÖ’Rd ÌaËK AMxYZ eÖkØn I dwky| Awk AwlöwpËK ht Kk, j^wk dwËi ÌZwikw GËK AeËkk xdKU jwPãw KËk awK Ggv AwZíyt šwxZËbk gøwewËk oZKêZw Agl¹d Kk| xdúPt AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbk gøwewËk oËPZd kËtËQd|  
O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allâh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allâh is Ever an All­Watcher over you.  
 
  وَآتُواْ الْيَتَامَى أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَبَدَّلُواْ الْخَبِيثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَى أَمْوَالِكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا  (2
GZyiËbkËK ZwËbk oóeb gÖxSËt bwI| Lwkwe iwlwiwËlk owËa hwËlw iwlwiwËlk Abl-gbl KËkw dw| Awk ZwËbk cd-oóeb xdËRËbk cd-oóeËbk owËa ovxixmÛZ KËk Zw MÞwo KËkw dw| xdúPt GUw grB iëb KwR|  
And give unto orphans their property and do not exchange (your) bad things for (their) good ones; and devour not their substance (by adding it) to your substance. Surely, this is a great sin.  
 
  وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلاَّ تُقْسِطُواْ فِي الْيَتَامَى فَانكِحُواْ مَا طَابَ لَكُم مِّنَ النِّسَاء مَثْنَى وَثُلاَثَ وَرُبَاعَ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُواْ فَوَاحِدَةً أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَلاَّ تَعُولُواْ  (3
Awk jxb ÌZwikw ht Kk Ìj, GZyi ÌiËtËbk pK jawahwËg eÖkY KkËZ ewkËg dw, ZËg Ìoog ÌiËtËbk iËcø ÌaËK jwËbk hwl lwËM ZwËbk xgËt KËk dwI bÖB, xZd, xKvgw PwkxU ejêìæ| Awk jxb GkÕe Awm‰w Kk Ìj, ZwËbk iËcø døwt oŠZ AwPkY gRwt kwLËZ ewkËg dw, ZËg, GKxUB Aagw ÌZwiwËbk AxcKwkhÖ£ß bwoyËbkËK; GËZB eqewxZËZò RxrZ dw pItwk AxcKZk oºwgdw|  
And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan­girls, then marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one or (the captives and the slaves) that your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice.  
 
  وَآتُواْ النَّسَاء صَدُقَاتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً فَإِن طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَن شَيْءٍ مِّنْهُ نَفْسًا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيئًا مَّرِيئًا  (4
Awk ÌZwikw þèyËbkËK ZwËbk Ìiwpk xbËt bwI LÖmyiËd| Zwkw jxb LÖmy pËt Zw ÌaËK Avm ÌQËr Ìbt, ZËg Zw ÌZwikw ÈwâQËëbø ÌhwM Kk|  
And give to the women (whom you marry) their Mahr (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart, but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it, and enjoy it without fear of any harm (as Allâh has made it lawful).  
 
  وَلاَ تُؤْتُواْ السُّفَهَاء أَمْوَالَكُمُ الَّتِي جَعَلَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ قِيَاماً وَارْزُقُوهُمْ فِيهَا وَاكْسُوهُمْ وَقُولُواْ لَهُمْ قَوْلاً مَّعْرُوفًا  (5
Awk Ìj oóebËK AwÁwp ÌZwiwËbk Rygd-jw¢wk Agl¹d KËkËQd, Zw AgêwPydËbk pwËZ Z×Ël xbI dw| gkv Zw ÌaËK ZwËbkËK LwItwI, ekwI Ggv ZwËbkËK owìædwk gwdy ÌmwdwI|  
And give not unto the foolish your property which Allâh has made a means of support for you, but feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.  
 
  وَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّىَ إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا  (6
Awk GZyiËbk eÞxZ xgËmnhwËg dRk kwLËg, Ìj ejêìæ dw Zwkw xgËtk gtËo Ìe^#ËQ| jxb ZwËbk iËcø gÖx¦-xgËgPdwk DËdôn Aw^P KkËZ ewk, ZËg ZwËbk oóeb ZwËbk pwËZ Aeêd KkËZ ewk| GZyËik iwl eÞËtwRdwxZxk£ß LkP KËkw dw gw Zwkw gr pËt jwËg iËd KËk ZwrwZwxr ÌLËt ÌfËlw dw| jwkw ÈâQl Zwkw AgmøB GZyËik iwl LkP Kkw ÌaËK xgkZ awKËg| Awk Ìj AhwgMÞþæ Ìo oŠZ exkiwY ÌLËZ ewËk| jLd ZwËbk pwËZ ZwËbk oóeb eÞZøweêY Kk, ZLd owqy kwLËg| Agmø AwÁwpzB xpowg Ìdtwk gøwewËk jËaÄ|  
And try orphans (as regards their intelligence) until they reach the age of marriage; if then you find sound judgement in them, release their property to them, but consume it not wastefully, and hastily fearing that they should grow up, and whoever amongst guardians is rich, he should take no wages, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable (according to his work). And when you release their property to them, take witness in their presence; and Allâh is All­Sufficient in taking account.  
 
  لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصيِبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالأَقْرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَاء نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَثُرَ نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا  (7
xeZw-iwZw I AwZíyt-ÈRdËbk exkZø£ß oóex£ËZ eÖkØnËbkI Avm AwËQ Ggv xeZw-iwZw I AwZîyt-ÈRdËbk exkZø£ß oóex£ËZ dwkyËbkI Avm AwËQ; Aùe ÌpwK xKvgw Ìgmy| G Avm xdcêwxkZ|  
There is a share for men and a share for women from what is left by parents and those nearest related, whether, the property be small or large - a legal share.  
 
  وَإِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ أُوْلُواْ الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَارْزُقُوهُم مِّنْهُ وَقُولُواْ لَهُمْ قَوْلاً مَّعْرُوفًا  (8
oóexZ gëUËdk oit jLd AwZíyt-ÈRd, GZyi I xioKyd DexþÿZ pt, ZLd Zw ÌaËK ZwËbk xKQÖ LwBËt bwI Ggv ZwËbk owËa xKQÖ obwlwe KËkw|  
And when the relatives and the orphans and Al­Masâkin (the poor) are present at the time of division, give them out of the property, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.  
 
  وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِينَ لَوْ تَرَكُواْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً ضِعَافًا خَافُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَلْيَتَّقُوا اللّهَ وَلْيَقُولُواْ قَوْلاً سَدِيدًا  (9
ZwËbk ht Kkw DxPZ, jwkw xdËRËbk eúPwËZ bÖgêl Aqi oìæwd-oìæxZ ÌQËr ÌMËl ZwËbk RËdø ZwkwI Awm‰w KËk; oÖZkwv Zwkw Ìjd AwlöwpËK ht KËk Ggv ovMZ Kaw gËl|  
And let those (executors and guardians) have the same fear in their minds as they would have for their own, if they had left weak offspring behind. So let them fear Allâh and speak right words.  
 
  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَى ظُلْمًا إِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ نَارًا وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ سَعِيرًا  (10
jwkw GZyiËbk Aaê-oóeb AdøwthwËg Lwt, Zwkw xdËRËbk ÌeËU AwMÖdB hxZê KËkËQ Ggv o£òkB Zwkw AxMíËZ eÞËgm KkËg|  
Verily, those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans, they eat up only a fire into their bellies, and they will be burnt in the blazing Fire!  
 
  يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاء فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبناؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيما حَكِيمًا  (11
AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbkËK ÌZwiwËbk oìæwdËbk oóeËKê AwËbm KËkd: GKRd eÖkØËnk Avm bÖ’Rd dwkyk AvËmk oiwd| AZ:ek jxb mÖcÖ dwkyB pt bÖ-Gk AxcK, ZËg ZwËbk RËdø H iwËlk xZd hwËMk bÖB hwM jw ZøwM KËk iËk Ggv jxb GKRdB pt, ZËg Zwk RËdø AËcêK| iÙËZk xeZw-iwZwk icø ÌaËK eÞËZøËKk RËdø ZøwRø oóex£k Qt hwËMk GK hwM, jxb iÙËZk eÖ¢ awËK| jxb eÖ¢ dw awËK Ggv xeZw-iwZwB Itwxko pt, ZËg iwZw ewËg xZd hwËMk GK hwM| AZ:ek jxb iÙËZk KËtKRd hwB awËK, ZËg Zwk iwZw ewËg Qt hwËMk GK hwM IxQtøËËZk ek, jw KËk iËkËQ xKvgw FY exkËmwËck ek| ÌZwiwËbk xeZw I eÖË¢k iËcø ÌK ÌZwiwËbk RËdø AxcK DeKwky ÌZwikw Rwd dw| GUw AwÁwpz KZÚêK xdcêwxxkZ Avm xdúPt AwÁwp ogêš, kpoøxgb|  
Allâh commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half. For parents, a sixth share of inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers or (sisters), the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies he may have bequeathed or debts. You know not which of them, whether your parents or your children, are nearest to you in benefit, (these fixed shares) are ordained by Allâh. And Allâh is Ever All­Knower, All­Wise.  
 
  وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلاَلَةً أَو امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِن كَانُوَاْ أَكْثَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاء فِي الثُّلُثِ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍّ وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ  (12
Awk, ÌZwiwËbk pËg AËcêK oóex£, jw ÌQËr jwt ÌZwiwËbk þèykw jxb ZwËbk ÌKwd oìæwd dw awËK| jxb ZwËbk oìæwd awËK, ZËg ÌZwiwËbk pËg GK-PZÖaêwvm H oóex£k, jw Zwkw ÌQËr jwt; IxQtøËZk ek, jw Zwkw KËk Ggv FY exkËmwËck ek| þèyËbk RËdø GK-PZ×aêwvm pËg H oóex£k, jw ÌZwikw ÌQËr jwI jxb ÌZwiwËbk ÌKwd oìæwd dw awËK| Awk jxb ÌZwiwËbk oìæwd awËK, ZËg ZwËbk RËdø pËg H oóex£k AwU hwËMk GK hwM, jw ÌZwikw ÌQËr jwI IxQtøËZk ek, jw ÌZwikw Kk Ggv FY exkËmwËck ek| Ìj eÖkØËnk, ZøwRø oóex£, Zwk jxb xeZw-eÖ¢ xKvgw þèy dw awËK Ggv GB iÙËZk GK hwB xKvgw GK Ìgwd awËK, ZËg DhËtk eÞËZøËK Qt-hwËMk GK ewËg| Awk jxb ZËZwxcK awËK, ZËg Zwkw GK ZÚZytwvm Avmybwk pËg IxQtøËZk ek, jw Kkw pt Aagw FËYk ek GiZwgþÿwt Ìj, AeËkk qxZ dw KËk| G xgcwd Awlöwpzk| AwÁwpz ogêš, opdmyl|  
In that which your wives leave, your share is a half if they have no child; but if they leave a child, you get a fourth of that which they leave after payment of legacies that they may have bequeathed or debts. In that which you leave, their (your wives) share is a fourth if you leave no child; but if you leave a child, they get an eighth of that which you leave after payment of legacies that you may have bequeathed or debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of lagacies he (or she) may have bequeathed or debts, so that no loss is caused (to anyone). This is a Commandment from Allâh; and Allâh is Ever All­Knowing, Most­Forbearing.  
 
  تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ  (13
GMÖÖËlw AwÁwpzk xdcêwxkZ oyiw| Ìj ÌKD Awlöwp I koÔËlk AwËbmiZ PËl, xZxd ZwËK RwdíwZ oiÔËp eÞËgm KkwËgd, ÌjMÖËlwk ZlËbm xbËt ÌoÛwZxÈdy eÞgwxpZ pËg| Zwkw ÌoLwËd xPkKwl awKËg| G pl xgkwU owflø|  
These are the limits (set by) Allâh (or ordainments as regards laws of inheritance), and whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success.  
 
  وَمَن يَعْصِ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ نَارًا خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَلَهُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ  (14
Ìj ÌKD AwÁwpz I koÔËlk AgwcøZw KËk Ggv Zwk oyiw AxZ¢ßi KËk xZxd ZwËK AwMÖËd eÞËgm KkwËgd| Ìo ÌoLwËd xPkKwl awKËg| Zwk RËdø kËtËQ AeiwdRdK mwxþæ|  
And whosoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and transgresses His limits, He will cast him into the Fire, to abide therein; and he shall have a disgraceful torment.  
 
  وَاللاَّتِي يَأْتِينَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعةً مِّنكُمْ فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىَ يَتَوَفَّاهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلاً  (15
Awk ÌZwiwËbk dwkyËbk iËcø jwkw gøxhPwxkYy ZwËbk xgkØË¦ ÌZwiwËbk icø ÌaËK Pwk Rd eÖkØnËK owqy xpËoËg Zlg Kk| AZ:ek jxb Zwkw owqø eÞbwd KËk ZËg ovxmöÄËbkËK MÙËp Awg¦ kwL, Ìj ejêìæ iÙZ×ø ZwËbkËK Z×Ël dw Ìdt Aagw AwÁwpz ZwËbk Rdø Adø ÌKwd ea xdËbêm dw KËkd|  
And those of your women who commit illegal sexual intercourse, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them (i.e. women) to houses until death comes to them or Allâh ordains for them some (other) way.
