[2] Surah Al-Baqara (oÔkw Awlz gwKñwkwpz)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَعِينُواْ بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (153
Ìp iÖxid Md! ÌZwikw Ñcjê I dwiwËjk iwcøËi owpwjø eÞwaêdw Kk| xdxúPZB Awlöwpz ÑcjêømylËbk owËa kËtËQd|
O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer). Truly! Allâh is with As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمَوَالِ وَالأنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ (155
Ggv AgmøB Awxi ÌZwiwxbMËK ekyqw Kkg xKQÖUw ht, q×cw, iwl I RwËdk qxZ I fl-fol xgdËÄk iwcøËi| ZËg oÖovgwb bwI ogkKwkyËbk|
And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُواْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاء والضَّرَّاء وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ (177

It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allâh, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allâh, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to Al-Masâkin (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and gives the Zakât, and who fulfill their covenant when they make it, and who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are AlMuttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2).

وَلَمَّا بَرَزُواْ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ (250
Awk jLd ZwlÖZ I Zwk Ìodwgwxpdy m¢Øk oóiÖLyd pl, ZLd gll, Ìp AwiwËbk ewldKZêw, AwiwËbk iËd Ñcjê oÙxÄ KËk bwI Ggv AwiwËbkËK bÙseb kwL-Awk AwiwËbk owpwjø Kk Ìo KwËfk RwxZk xgkØË¦|
And when they advanced to meet Jalût (Goliath) and his forces, they invoked: ”Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience and make us victorious over the disbelieving people.”

[3] Surah Al-i'Imran (oÔkw Awlz Bikwd)
الصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْمُنفِقِينَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ بِالأَسْحَارِ (17
Zwkw ÑcjêøcwkYKwky, oZøgwby, xdËbêm oóewbdKwky, oueËa gøtKwky Ggv ÌmnkwËZ qiw eÞwaêdwKwky|
(They are) those who are patient ones, those who are true (in Faith, words, and deeds), and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allâh. Those who spend [give the Zakât and alms in the Way of Allâh] and those who pray and beg Allâh’s Pardon in the last hours of the night.

بَلَى إِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَـذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ آلافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ (125
Agmø ÌZwikw jxb ogk Kk Ggv xgkZ awK Awk Zwkw jxb ZLdB ÌZwiwËbk Dek PrwI pt, ZwpËl ÌZwiwËbk ewldKZêw xPxpßZ ÌNwrwk Dek e^wP pwRwk ÌfËkmZw ÌZwiwËbk owpwËjø ewVwËZ ewËkd|
”Yes, if you hold on to patience and piety, and the enemy comes rushing at you; your Lord will help you with five thousand angels having marks (of distinction).”

أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ (142
ÌZwiwËbk xK cwkYw, ÌZwikw RwdíwËZ eÞËgm KkËg? AaP AwÁwpz GLdI ÌbËLdxd ÌZwiwËbk iËcø Kwkw ÌRpwb KËkËQ Ggv Kwkw Ñcjêmyl|
Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allâh tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.)?

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ (146
Awk gpÖ dgy xQËld, j^wËbk oŠy-owaykw Zw^Ëbk AdÖgZyê pËt ÌRpwb KËkËQ; AwÁwpk eËa-ZwËbk xKQÖ KÄ pËtËQ gËU, xKìç AwÁwpzk kwËp Zwkw ÌpËkI jwtxd, KõwìæI ptxd Ggv bËiI jwtxd| Awk jwkw ogk KËk, Awlöwpz ZwËbkËK hwlgwËod|
And many a Prophet (i.e. many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allâh’s Cause) and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allâh’s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allâh loves As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ أَذًى كَثِيرًا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الأُمُورِ (186
Agmø cd-oóeËb Ggv RdoóeËb ÌZwiwËbk ekyqw pËg Ggv Agmø ÌZwikw mÖdËg eÔgêgZêy AwpËl xKZwgËbk KwËQ Ggv iÖmËkKËbk KwËQ gpÖ AËmwhd Dx£ß| Awk jxb ÌZwikw Ñcjøê cwkY Kk Ggv ekËpjMwky Agl¹d Kk, ZËg Zw pËg GKwìæ ouowpËok gøwewk|
You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allâh, but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2) then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs, and that is from the great matters, [which you must hold on with all your efforts].

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اصْبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ (200
Ìp CiwdbwdMY! Ñcjêø cwkY Kk Ggv ÌiwKwËglwt bÙsZw Agl¹d Kk| Awk AwlöwpËK ht KkËZ awK jwËZ ÌZwikw ÌZwiwËbk DË¥mø lwËh oiaê pËZ ewk|
O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allâh, so that you may be successful.

[7] Surah Al-A'raf (oÔkw Awl Aw’kwf)
وَإِن كَانَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنكُمْ آمَنُواْ بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَآئِفَةٌ لَّمْ يْؤْمِنُواْ فَاصْبِرُواْ حَتَّى يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ (87
Awk jxb ÌZwiwËbk GKbl H xgnËtk eÞxZ xgmðwo þÿwed KËk jw xdËt Awxi ÌeÞxkZ pËtxQ Ggv GKbl xgmðwo þÿwed KËk jw xdËt Awxi ÌeÞxkZ pËtxQ Ggv GKbl xgmðwo þÿwed dw KËk, ZËg Qgk Kk Ìj ejêìæ AwÁwpz AwiwËbk iËcø iyiwvow dw KËk Ìbd| xZxdB ÌmÛÄ iyiwvowKwky|
”And if there is a party of you who believes in that with which I have been sent and a party who do not believe, so be patient until Allâh judges between us, and He is the Best of judges.”

وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءتْنَا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ (126
gþçZ: AwiwËbk owËa ÌZwiwk m¢ØZw ÌZw G KwkËYB Ìj, Awikw Ciwd GËdxQ AwiwËbk ekItwkËbMwËkk xdbmêdoiÔËpk eÞxZ jLd Zw AwiwËbk xdKU Ìe^#ËQËQ| Ìp AwiwËbk ekItwkËbMwk AwiwËbk Rdø ÑcËjøêk §wk LÖËl bwI Ggv AwiwËbkËK iÖoliwd xpowËg iÙZ×ø bwd Kk|
”And you take vengeance on us only because we believed in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.”

قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ اسْتَعِينُوا بِاللّهِ وَاصْبِرُواْ إِنَّ الأَرْضَ لِلّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (128
iÔow glËld Zwk KIiËK, owpwjø eÞwaêdw Kk AwÁwpzk xdKU Ggv Ñcjêø cwkY Kk| xdúPtB G eÙxagy AwÁwpzk| xZxd xdËRk gwëbwËbk iËcø jwËK BâQw Gk D£kwxcKwky gwxdËt Ìbd Ggv Ìmn KløwY iÖ£wKyËbk RdøB xdcêwxkZ kËtËQ|
Mûsa (Moses) said to his people: ”Seek help in Allâh and be patient. Verily, the earth is Allâh’s. He gives it as a heritage to whom He will of His slaves, and the (blessed) end is for the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2).”

وَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُواْ يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعْرِشُونَ (137
Awk jwËbkËK bÖgêl iËd Kkw pZ ZwËbkËKI Awxi D£kwxcKwk bwd KËkxQ G hÖLË«k eÔgê I exúPi AéËlk jwËZ Awxi gkKZ oxdíxpZ ÌkËLxQ Ggv exkeÔYê pËt ÌMËQ ÌZwiwk ewldKZêwk eÞxZmÞØZ KløwY gdy-BokwClËbk Rdø ZwËbk ÐcjøêcwkËYk bkØd| Awk cµvo KËk xbËtËQ Ìo ogxKQÖ jw ÑZky KËkxQl ÌfkwDd I Zwk oóeÞbwt Ggv cµvo KËkxQ jw xKQÖ Zwkw oÖDâP xdiêwY KËkxQl|
And We made the people who were considered weak to inherit the eastern parts of the land and the western parts thereof which We have blessed. And the fair Word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because of their endurance. And We destroyed completely all the great works and buildings which Fir’aun (Pharaoh) and his people erected.

[8] Surah Al-Anfal (oÔkw Awl-Awdfwl)
وَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلاَ تَنَازَعُواْ فَتَفْشَلُواْ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَاصْبِرُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (46
Awk AwÁwpz Zw’Awlwk xdËbêm iwdø Kk Ggv Z^wk koÔËlk| ZwQwrw ÌZwikw ekþeËk xggwËb xl® pBI dw| jxb Zw Kk, ZËg ÌZwikw KweÖkØn pËt erËg Ggv ÌZwiwËbk eÞhwg PËl jwËg| Awk ÌZwikw ÑcjêcwkY Kk| xdúPtB AwÁwpz Zw’Awlw kËtËQd ÑcjêmylËbk owËa|
And obey Allâh and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allâh is with those who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَابِرُونَ يَغْلِبُواْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّئَةٌ يَغْلِبُواْ أَلْفًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ (65
Ìp dgy, Awexd iÖoliwdMYËK DuowxpZ KkØd ÌRpwËbk Rdø| ÌZwiwËbk iËcø jxb xgm Rd bÙseb gøx£ß awËK, ZËg Rty pËg bÖ’mk ÌiwKwËglwt| Awk jxb ÌZwiwËbk iËcø awËK GKm ÌlwK, ZËg Rty pËg pwRwk KwËfËkk Dek ÌaËK Zwk KwkY Ikw šwdpyd|
O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are people who do not understand.

الآنَ خَفَّفَ اللّهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّئَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُواْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُواْ أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (66
GLd ÌgwSw pwlKw KËk xbËtËQd AwÁwpz Zw’Awlw ÌZwiwËbk Dek Ggv xZxd ÌRËd xdËtËQd Ìj, ÌZwiwËbk icø bÔgêlZw kËtËQ| KwËRB ÌZwiwËbk iËcø jxb bÙsxP£ GKm ÌlwK xgbøiwd awËK, ZËg Rty pËg bÖ’mk Dek| Awk jxb ÌZwikw GK pwRwk pI ZËg AwÁwpzk pÖK×i AdÖjwty Rty pËg bÖ’pwRwËkk Dek Awk AwÁwpz kËtËQd bÙsxP£ ÌlwKËbk owËa|
Now Allâh has lightened your (task), for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you a hundred steadfast persons, they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a thousand of you, they shall overcome two thousand with the Leave of Allâh. And Allâh is with As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

[10] Surah Yunus (oÔkw BDdÖo)
وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّىَ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ (109
Awk Z×xi Pl Ìo AdÖjwty Ìjid xdËbêm AwËo ÌZwiwk eÞxZ Ggv ogk Kk, jZqY dw ftowlw KËkd AwÁwpzz| gþçZ: xZxd pËâQd oËgwê£i ftowlwKwky|
And (O Muhammad SAW), follow the inspiration sent unto you, and be patient till Allâh gives judgement. And He is the Best of judges.

[11] Surah Hud (oÔkw pÖb)
إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ (11
ZËg jwkw ÑcjêøcwkY KËkËQ Ggv ouKwjê KËkËQ ZwËbk Rdø qiw I xgkwU eÞxZbwd kËtËQ|
Except those who show patience and do righteous good deeds, those: theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (Paradise).

تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاء الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَا أَنتَ وَلاَ قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَـذَا فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (49
GxU MwtËgk Lgk, Awxi Awedwk eÞxZ Ipy ÌeÞkd KkxQ| BxZeÔËgê GUw Awedwk Ggv Awedwk RwxZk Rwdw xQl dw| Awexd ÑcjêcwkY KkØd| jwkw ht KËk PËl, ZwËbk exkYwi hwl, oËëbp ÌdB|
This is of the news of the unseen which We reveal unto you (O Muhammad SAW), neither you nor your people knew them before this. So be patient. Surely, the (good) end is for the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2)

وَاصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ (115
Awk ÐcjêcwkY Kk, xdúPtB AwÁwpz eÔYøgwdËbk eÞxZbwd xgdÄ KËkd dw|
And be patient; verily, Allâh loses not the reward of the good-doers.

[12] Surah Yusuf (oÔkw BDoÔf)
وَجَآؤُوا عَلَى قَمِيصِهِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ (18
Ggv Zwkw Zwk Rwiwt KÚx¢i k£ß lwxMËt Awdl| glËld: GUw KLdB dt; gkv ÌZwiwËbk id ÌZwiwËbkËK GKUw Kaw owxRËt xbËtËQ| oÖZkwv GLd Qgk KkwB ÌmÞt| ÌZwikw jw gYêdw KkQ, Ìo xgnËt GKiw¢ AwÁwpzB Awiwk owpwjø þÿl|
And they brought his shirt stained with false blood. He said: ”Nay, but your ownselves have made up a tale. So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allâh (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert.”

قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَنِي بِهِمْ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ (83
xZxd glËld: xKQÖB dw, ÌZwikw idMrw GKxU Kaw xdËtB GËoQ| GLd ÐcjêcwkYB D£i| oºgZ: AwÁwpz ZwËbk ogwBËK GKoËŠ Awiwk KwËQ xdËt AwoËgd xZxd oÖxgš, eÞšwit|
He [Ya’qûb (Jacob)] said: ”Nay, but your ownselves have beguiled you into something. So patience is most fitting (for me). May be Allâh will bring them (back) all to me. Truly He! only He is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

قَالُواْ أَإِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُ قَالَ أَنَاْ يُوسُفُ وَهَـذَا أَخِي قَدْ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّهُ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيِصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ (90
Zwkw gll, ZËg xK Z×xiB BDoÖf! glËld: AwxiB BDoÖf Ggv G pl Awiwk oËpwbk hwB| AwÁwpz AwiwËbk eÞxZ AdÖMÞp KËkËQd| xdúPt Ìj ZwKItw Agl¹d KËk Ggv ogk KËk, AwÁwp GËpd ouKiêmylËbk eÞxZbwd xgdÄ KËkd dw|
They said: ”Are you indeed Yûsuf (Joseph)?” He said: ”I am Yûsuf (Joseph), and this is my brother (Benjamin). Allâh has indeed been gracious to us. Verily, he who fears Allâh with obedience to Him (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds, and by performing righteous good deeds), and is patient, then surely, Allâh makes not the reward of the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112) to be lost.”

[13] Surah Ar-Ra'd (oÖkw kw’b)
وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ ابْتِغَاء وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً وَيَدْرَؤُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (22
Ggv jwkw Èyt ewldKZêwk oìçxÄk RËdø ogk KËk, dwiwj eÛxZÄw KËk Awk Awxi ZwËbkËK jw xbËtxQ, Zw ÌaËK ÌMweËd I eÞKwmø gøt KËk Ggv jwkw iËëbk xgekyËZ hwl KËk, ZwËbk RËdø kËtËQ ekKwËlk MÙp|
And those who remain patient, seeking their Lord’s Countenance, perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and spend out of that which We have bestowed on them, secretly and openly, and defend evil with good, for such there is a good end;

[16] Surah An-Nahl (oÖkw dwpzl)
مَا عِندَكُمْ يَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ اللّهِ بَاقٍ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ (96
ÌZwiwËbk KwËQ jw AwËQ xd:Ëmn pËt jwËg Ggv AwÁwpzk KwËQ jw AwËQ, KLdI Zw Ìmn pËg dw| jwkw ogk KËk, Awxi ZwËbkËK eÞweø eÞxZbwd Ìbg ZwËbk D£i KËiêk eÞxZbwd ÈkÕe jw Zwkw KkZ|
Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever with Allâh (of good deeds) will remain. And those who are patient, We will certainly pay them a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ مِن بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُواْ ثُمَّ جَاهَدُواْ وَصَبَرُواْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ (110
jwkw bÖ:L-KÄ ÌhwËMk ek ÌbmZøwMy pËtËQ AZ:ek ÌRpwb KËkËQ, xdúPt Awedwk ewldKZêw Gog xgnËtk eËk AgmøB qiwmyl, eki btwlÖ|
Then, verily! Your Lord for those who emigrated after they had been put to trials and thereafter strove hard and fought (for the Cause of Allâh) and were patient, verily, your Lord afterward is, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُواْ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُم بِهِ وَلَئِن صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِّلصَّابِرينَ (126
Awk jxb ÌZwikw eÞxZËmwc MÞpY Kk, ZËg H exkiwY eÞxZËmwc MÞpY KkËg, Ìj exkiwY ÌZwiwËbkËK KÄ Ìbtw pt| jxb ogk Kk, ZËg Zw ogkKwkyËbk RËdø D£i|
And if you punish (your enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allâh), then punish them with the like of that with which you were afflicted. But if you endure patiently, verily, it is better for As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

[21] Surah Al-Anbiyaa (oÔkw Awx¹tw)
وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصَّابِرِينَ (85
Ggv BoiwCl, B’©yo I jÖlxKfËlk Kaw oôkY KkØd, Z^wkw eÞËZøËKB xQËld ogkKwky|
And (remember) Isma’îl (Ishmael), and Idris (Enoch) and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all were from among As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).

[22] Surah Al-Hajj (oÔkw pwŒò)
الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَهُمْ وَالْمُقِيمِي الصَّلَاةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ (35
jwËbk Aìæk AwÁwpzk dwi oôkY Kkw pËl hyZ pt Ggv jwkw ZwËbk xgebweËb ÑcjêcwkY KËk Ggv jwkw dwiwj KwËti KËk I Awxi jw xbËtxQ, Zw ÌaËK gøt KËk|
Whose hearts are filled with fear when Allâh is mentioned; who patiently bear whatever may befall them (of calamities); and who perform AsSalât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and who spend (in Allâh’s Cause) out of what We have provided them.

[23] Surah Al-Muminun (oÔkw Awl iÖ’xidÔd)
إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ (111
AwR Awxi ZwËbkËK ZwËbk ogËkk KwkËY Gid eÞxZbwd xbËtxQ Ìj, ZwkwB oflKwi|
Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful.

[28] Surah Al-Qasas (oÔkw Awl-Kwowo)
أُوْلَئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيَدْرَؤُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ (54
Zwkw bÖBgwk eÖkÆÚZ pËg ZwËbk ogËkk KwkËY| Zwkw iËëbk RItwËg hwl KËk Ggv Awxi ZwËbkËK jw xbËtxQ, Zw ÌaËK gøt KËk|
These will be given their reward twice over, because they are patient, and repel evil with good, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided them.

[29] Surah Al-Ankabut (oÔkw Awl-AwdKwgÖZ)
الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ (59
jwkw ogk KËk Ggv ZwËbk ewldKZêwk Dek hkow KËk|
Those who are patient, and put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allâh).

[30] Surah Ar-Rum (oÔkw Awk-kÕi)
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ (60
AZGg, Awexd ogk KkØd| AwÁwpzk Itwbw oZø| jwkw xgmðwoy dt, Zwkw Ìjd AwedwËK xgPxlZ KkËZ dw ewËk|
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and let not those who have no certainty of faith, discourage you from conveying Allâh’s Message (which you are obliged to convey).

[31] Surah Luqman (oÔkw ÌlwKiwd)
يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ (17
Ìp guo, dwiwj KwËti Kk, ouKwËR AwËbm bwI, iëbKwËR xdËnc Kk Ggv xgebweËb ogk Kk| xdúPt GUw owpxoKZwk KwR|
”O my son! AqimisSalât (perform AsSalât), enjoin (people) for AlMa’rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from AlMunkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allâh with no exemption.

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ آيَاتِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ (31
Z×xi xK ÌbL dw Ìj, AwÁwpzk AdÖMÞËp RwpwR oiÖËbÛ PlwPl KËk, jwËZ xZxd ÌZwiwËbkËK Z^wk xdbmêdwgly eÞbmêd KËkd? xdúPt GËZ eÛËZøK opdmyl, KÚZš gøx£ßk RËdø xdbmêd kËtËQ|
See you not that the ships sail through the sea by Allâh’s Grace? that He may show you of His Signs? Verily, in this are signs for every patient, grateful (person).

[37] Surah As-Saffat (oÔkw Awoz-owfzfwZ)
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ (102
AZ:ek Ìo jLd xeZwk owËa PlwËfkw Kkwk gtËo DedyZ pl, ZLd Bgkwpyi ZwËK gll: guo! Awxi ÈËeí ÌbxLËj, ÌZwiwËK jËgp KkxQ; GLd ÌZwiwk AxhiZ xK ÌbL| Ìo gll: xeZw:! AwedwËK jw AwËbm Kkw pËtËQ, ZwB KkØd| AwÁwpz PwËp ÌZw Awexd AwiwËK ogkKwky ewËgd|
And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: ”O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allâh), so look what you think!” He said: ”O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Inshâ’ Allâh (if Allâh will), you shall find me of As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.).”

[38] Surah Sad (oÔkw ÌQwtwb)
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِب بِّهِ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِرًا نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ (44
Z×xi ÌZwiwk pwËZ GK iÖËVw ZÚYmlw dwI, Z§wkw AwNwZ Kk Ggv mea hŠ KËkw dw| Awxi ZwËK Ìelwi ogkKwky| PiuKwk gwëbw Ìo| xdúPt Ìo xQl eÞZøwgZêdmyl|
”And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath . Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)!

[39] Surah Az-Zumar (oÔkw Awl-jÖiwk)
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ (10
glÖd, Ìp Awiwk xgmðwoy gwëbwMY! ÌZwikw ÌZwiwËbk ewldKZêwËK ht Kk| jwkw G bÖxdtwËZ ouKwR KËk, ZwËbk RËdø kËtËQ eÖYø| AwÁwpk eÙxagy eÞmþæ| jwkw ogkKwky, ZwkwB ZwËbk eÖkÆwk ewt AMxYZ|
Say (O Muhammad SAW): ”O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allâh) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allâh’s earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allâh at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning.”

[40] Surah Al-Mu'min (oÔkw Awl-iÖ’xid)
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ (55
AZGg, Awexd ogk KkØd xdúPt AwÁwpzk Itwbw oZø| Awexd Awedwk ÌMwdwËpk RËdø qiw eÞaêdw KkØd Ggv oKwl-o¬øwt Awedwk ewldKZêwk eÞmvowop exg¢Zw gYêdw KkØd|
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkâr (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salât (prayers) or the ’Asr and Fajr prayers].

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ (77
AZGg Awexd ogk KkØd| xdúPt AwÁwpzk Itwbw oZø| AZ:ek Awxi KwËfkËbkËK Ìj mwxþæk Itwbw ÌbB, Zwk xKtbvm jxb AwedwËK ÌbxLËt ÌbB Aagw Awedwk eÞwY pkY KËk ÌdB, ogêwgþÿwt Zwkw ÌZw AwiwkB KwËQ xfËk AwoËg|
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW), verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and whether We show you (O Muhammad SAW in this world) some part of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die, then it is to Us they all shall be returned.

[41] Surah Ha-Mim (oÔkw pw-iyi ÌoRbwp)
وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ (35
G Pxk¢ ZwkwB lwh KËk, jwkw ogk KËk Ggv G PxkË¢k AxcKwky ZwkwB pt, jwkw AZøìæ hwMøgwd|
But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of the happiness in the Hereafter i.e. Paradise and in this world of a high moral character).

[42] Surah Ash-Shura (oÔkw Awm-mÖkw)
إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ (33
xZxd BâQw KkËl gwZwoËK awxiËt Ìbd| ZLd RwpwRoiÔp oiÖbÛeÙËÅ xdúPl pËt eËr Ìjd ewpwr| xdúPt GËZ eÞËZøK ogkKwky, KÚZËšk RËdø xdbmêdwgly kËtËQ|
If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

[46] Surah Al-Ahqaf (oÔkw Awl-AwpzKòwf)
فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِل لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّن نَّهَارٍ بَلَاغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ (35
AZGg, Awexd ogk KkØd, Ìjid DâP owpoy etM¹kMY ogk KËkËQd Ggv IËbk xgnËt ZxrNxr KkËgd dw| IËbkËK Ìj xgnËt Itwbw Ìbtw pZ, Zw Ìjxbd Zwkw eÞZøq KkËg, Ìoxbd ZwËbk iËd pËg Ìjd Zwkw xbËdk GK iÖpÖËZêk Ìgmy eÙxagyËZ Agþÿwd KËkxd| GUw oÖþeÄ AgMxZ| GLd ZwkwB cµvoeÞw® pËg, jwkw ewewPwky oóeÞbwt|
Therefore be patient (O Muhammad SAW) as did the Messengers of strong will and be in no haste about them (disbelievers). On the Day when they will see that (torment) with which they are promised (i.e. threatened, it will be) as if they had not stayed more than an hour in a single day. (O mankind! This Qur’ân is sufficient as) a clear Message (or proclamation to save yourself from destruction). But shall any be destroyed except the people who are Al-Fâsiqûn (the rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

[47] Surah Muhammad (oÔkw iÖpwóib)
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَ أَخْبَارَكُمْ (31
Awxi AgmøB ÌZwiwËbkËK ekyqw Kkg Ìj ejêìæ dw f×xUËt Z×xl ÌZwiwËbk ÌRpwbKwkyËbkËK Ggv ogkKwkyËbkËK Ggv jZqY dw Awxi ÌZwiwËbk Agþÿwd oiÔp jwPwB Kxk|
And surely, We shall try you till We test those who strive hard (for the Cause of Allâh) and the patient ones, and We shall test your facts (i.e. the one who is a liar, and the one who is truthful).

[70] Surah Al-Ma'arij (oÔkw Awl-iw’AwxkR)
فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا (5
AZGg, Awexd D£i ogk KkØd|
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW ), with a good patience.

[76] Surah Ad-Dahr (oÔkw Awb-bwpzk)
وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا (12
Ggv ZwËbk ogËkk eÞxZbwËd ZwËbkËK xbËgd RwdíwZ I Ìkmiy ÌewmwK|
And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient.

[90] Surah Al-Balad (oÔkw Awl-gwlwb)
ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ (17
AZ:ek ZwËbk AìæhêÖ£ß pItw, jwkw Ciwd AwËd Ggv ekþekËK DeËbm Ìbt ogËkk I DeËbm Ìbt btwk|
Then he became one of those who believed, and recommended one another to perseverance and patience, and (also) recommended one another to pity and compassion.

[103] Surah Al-Asr (oÔkw AwQk)
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ (3
xKìç Zwkw dt, jwkw xgmðwo þÿwed KËk I ouKiê KËk Ggv ekþekËK ZwKyb KËk oËZøk Ggv ZwKyb KËk ogËkk|
Except those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma’rûf ÇáãÚÑæÝ)which Allâh has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar ÇáãäßÑ)which Allâh has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allâh’s Cause during preaching His religion of Islâmic Monotheism or Jihâd, etc.).
