[2] Surah Al-Baqara (oÔkw Awlz gwKñwkwpz)
  وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُواْ مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ  (43
Awk dwiwj KwËti Kk, jwKwZ bwd Kk Ggv dwiwËj AgdZ pI ZwËbk owËa, jwkw AgdZ pt|  
And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and Irka’ (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allâh) along with Ar­Raki’ûn.  
 
  وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ  (110
ÌZwikw dwiwj eÞxZÅw Kk Ggv jwKwZ bwI| ÌZwikw xdËRk RËdø eÔËgê Ìj ouKiê ÌeÞkY KkËg, Zw Awlöwpzk KwËQ ewËg| ÌZwikw jw xKQÖ Kk, xdúPt AwÁwpz Zw eÞZøq KËkd|  
And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and whatever of good (deeds that Allâh loves) you send forth for yourselves before you, you shall find it with Allâh. Certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what you do.  
 
  لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُواْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاء والضَّرَّاء وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ  (177
ouKiê mÖcÖ GB dt Ìj, eÔgê xKvgw exúPixbËK iÖL KkËg, gkv gr ouKwR pl GB Ìj, Ciwd AwdËg AwÁwpzk Dek xKtwiZ xbgËok Dek, ÌfËkmZwËbk Dek Ggv oiþæ dgy-koÔlMËYk Dek, Awk oóeb gøt KkËg Zw^kB ipgµËZ AwZíyt-ÈRd, GZyi-xioKyd, iÖowxfk-xhq×K I iÖx£ßKwiy ¢ßyZbwoËbk RËdø| Awk jwkw dwiwj eÞxZÅw KËk, jwKwZ bwd KËk Ggv jwkw KÚZ eÞxZšw oóewbdKwky Ggv AhwËg, ÌkwËM-ËmwËK I jÖ˦k oit ÑcjøêcwkYKwky ZwkwB pl oZøwmÛty, Awk ZwkwB ekËpjMwk|  
It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allâh, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allâh, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to Al-Masâkin (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and gives the Zakât, and who fulfill their covenant when they make it, and who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are Al­Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2).  
 
  يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ  (215
ÌZwiwk KwËQ xRËšo KËk, xK Zwkw gøt KkËg? gËl bwI-Ìj gþçB ÌZwikw gøt Kk, Zw pËg xeZw-iwZwk RËdø, AwZíyt-AwedRËdk RËdø, GZyi-AdwaËbk RËdø, AopwtËbk RËdø Ggv iÖowxfkËbk RËdø| Awk ÌZwikw Ìj ÌKwd ouKwR KkËg, xd:oËëbËp Zw AZøìæ hwlhwËgB Awlöwpk Rwdw kËtËQ|  
They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) what they should spend. Say: Whatever you spend of good must be for parents and kindred and orphans and Al­Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarers, and whatever you do of good deeds, truly, Allâh knows it well.  
 
  يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثْمُهُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِهِمَا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ كَذَلِكَ يُبيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمُ الآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ  (219
Zwkw ÌZwiwËK ib I RÖtw oóeËKê xRËšo KËk| gËl bwI, GZbÖhËtk iËcø kËtËQ ipwewe| Awk iwdÖËnk RËdø DeKwxkZwI kËtËQ, ZËg GMÖËlwk ewe DeKwxkZw AËeqw AËdK gr| Awk ÌZwiwk KwËQ xRËšo KËk, xK Zwkw gøt KkËg? gËl bwI, xdËRËbk eÞËtwRdyt gøËtk ek jw gw^ËP ZwB LkP KkËg| GhwËgB AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbk RËdø xdËbêm oÖþeÄkÕËe gYêdw KËkd, jwËZ ÌZwikw xPìæw KkËZ ewk|  
They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning alcoholic drink and gambling. Say: ”In them is a great sin, and (some) benefit for men, but the sin of them is greater than their benefit.” And they ask you what they ought to spend. Say: ”That which is beyond your needs.” Thus Allâh makes clear to you His Laws in order that you may give thought.”  
 
  الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يُتْبِعُونَ مَا أَنفَقُواُ مَنًّا وَلاَ أَذًى لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ  (262
jwkw Èyt cd oóeb Awlöwpzk kwþæwt gøt KËk, Gkek gøt Kkwk ek Ìo AdÖMÞËpk Kaw eÞKwm KËk dw Ggv KÄI Ìbt dw, ZwËbkB RËdø ZwËbk ewldKZêwk KwËQ kËtËQ eÖkÆwk Ggv ZwËbk ÌKwd AwmvKw ÌdB, Zwkw xPxìæZI pËg dw|  
Those who spend their wealth in the Cause of Allâh, and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.  
 
  قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًى وَاللّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيمٌ  (263
diÛ Kaw gËl Ìbtw Ggv qiw eÞbmêd Kkw H bwd LtkwZ AËeqw D£i, jwk eËk KÄ Ìbtw pt| Awlöwpz Zwtwlw oóebmwly, oxpé×|  
Kind words and forgiving of faults are better than Sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. And Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants) and He is Most-Forbearing.  
 
  يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تُبْطِلُواْ صَدَقَاتِكُم بِالْمَنِّ وَالأذَى كَالَّذِي يُنفِقُ مَالَهُ رِئَاء النَّاسِ وَلاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْهِ تُرَابٌ فَأَصَابَهُ وَابِلٌ فَتَرَكَهُ صَلْدًا لاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ  (264
Ìp CiwdbwkMY!ÌZwikw AdÖMÞËpk Kaw eÛKwm KËk Ggv KÄ xbËt xdËRËbk bwd LtkwZ gkgwb KËkw dw Ìo gøx£ßk iZ Ìj xdËRk cd-oóeb ÌlwK ÌbLwËdwk DË¥Ëmø gøt KËk Ggv Awlöwpz I ekKwËlk eÞxZ xgmðwo kwËL dw| AZGg, G gøwx£ßk bÙÄwìæ GKxU ioÙY ewaËkk iZ jwk Dek xKQÖ iwxU eËrxQl| AZ:ek Gk Dek eÞgl gÙxÄ gxnêZ pËlw, Adìæk ZwËK oóeÔYê exkûKwk KËk xbl| Zwkw H gþçk ÌKwd oItwg ewt dw, jw Zwkw DewRêd KËkËQ| Awlöwpz KwËfk oóeÞbwtËK ea eÞbmêd KËkd dw|  
O you who believe! Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury, like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men, and he does not believe in Allâh, nor in the Last Day. His likeness is the likeness of a smooth rock on which is a little dust; on it falls heavy rain which leaves it bare. They are not able to do anything with what they have earned. And Allâh does not guide the disbelieving people.  
 
  إِن تُبْدُواْ الصَّدَقَاتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَرَاء فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لُّكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ  (271
jxb ÌZwikw eÞKwËmø bwd-LtkwZ Kk, ZËg Zw KZBdw D£i| Awk jxb LtkwZ ÌMweËd Kk Ggv AhwgMÞþæËbk xbËt bwI, ZËg Zw ÌZwiwËbk RËdø AwkI D£i| Awlöwpz Zw’Awlw ÌZwiwËbk xKQÖ ÌMwdwp bÔk KËk xbËgd| Awlöwpz ÌZwiwËbk KwR KËiêk LÖg Lgk kwËLd|  
If you disclose your Sadaqât (alms-giving), it is well, but if you conceal it, and give it to the poor, that is better for you. (Allâh) will forgive you some of your sins. And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do.  
 
  لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكَ هُدَاهُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاء وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلأنفُسِكُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ ابْتِغَاء وَجْهِ اللّهِ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ  (272
ZwËbkËK oueËa Awdwk bwt ÌZwiwk dt| gkv AwÁwpz jwËK BâQw oueËa exkPwxlZ KËkd| Ìj iwl ÌZwikw gøt Kk, Zw xdR DewKwkwËaêB Kk| AwÁwpzk oìçxÄ Qwrw Adø ÌKwd DË¥Ëmø gøt KËkw dw| ÌZwikw Ìj, Aaê gøt KkËg, Zwk eÖkÆwk eÖËkweÖxk ÌeËt jwËg Ggv ÌZwiwËbk eÞxZ Adøwt Kkw pËg dw|  
Not upon you (Muhammad SAW) is their guidance, but Allâh guides whom He wills. And whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend not except seeking Allâh’s Countenance. And whatever you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.  
 
  لِلْفُقَرَاء الَّذِينَ أُحصِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْبًا فِي الأَرْضِ يَحْسَبُهُمُ الْجَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَاء مِنَ التَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُهُم بِسِيمَاهُمْ لاَ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ إِلْحَافًا وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ  (273
LtkwZ H oKl Mkyg ÌlwËKk RËdø jwkw Awlöwpzk eËa Awg¦ pËt ÌMËQ-RyxgKwk o¬wËd Adø¢ ÌNwkwËfkw KkËZ oqi dt| Aš ÌlwËKkw jwéw dw Kkwk KwkËY ZwËbkËK AhwgiÖ£ß iËd KËk| ÌZwikw ZwËbkËK ZwËbk lqY §wkw xPdËg| Zwkw iwdÖËnk KwËQ KwK×xZ-xidxZ KËk xhqw Pwt dw| ÌZwikw Ìj Aaê gøt KkËg, Zw Awlöwpz Zw’Awlw AgmøB exkšwZ|  
(Charity is) for Fuqarâ (the poor), who in Allâh’s Cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land (for trade or work). The one who knows them not, thinks that they are rich because of their modesty. You may know them by their mark, they do not beg of people at all. And whatever you spend in good, surely Allâh knows it well.  
 
  الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ  (274
jwkw Èyt cd-oóeb gøt KËk, kwË¢ I xbËd, ÌMweËd I eÞKwËmø| ZwËbk RËdø ZwËbk oItwg kËtËQ ZwËbk ewldKZêwk KwËQ| ZwËbk ÌKwd Awmv‰w ÌdB Ggv Zwkw xPxìæZ I pËg dw|  
Those who spend their wealth (in Allâh’s Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.  
 
  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَوُاْ الزَّكَاةَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ  (277
xdúPtB jwkw xgmðwo þÿwed KËkËQ, ouKwR KËkËQ, dwiwj eÞxZxÅZ KËkËQ Ggv jwKwZ bwd KËkËQ, ZwËbk RËdø ZwËbk eÖkûKwk ZwËbk ewldKZêwk KËQ kËtËQ| ZwËbk ÌKwd m‰w ÌdB Ggv Zwkw bÖ:xLZ pËg dw|  
Truly those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.  
 
[3] Surah Al-i'Imran (oÔkw Awlz Bikwd)
  لَن تَنَالُواْ الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ  (92
KxoôYKwËlI KløwY lwh KkËZ ewkËg dw, jxb ÌZwiwËbk xeÞt gþç ÌaËK ÌZwikw gøt dw Kk| Awk ÌZwikw jxb xKQÖ gøt KkËg AwÁwpz Zw RwËdd|  
By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, etc., it means here Allâh’s Reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allâh’s Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allâh knows it well.  
 
  الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاء وَالضَّرَّاء وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ  (134
jwkw ÈâQlZwt I AhwËgk oit gøt KËk, jwkw xdËRËbk kwMËK ovgkY KËk Awk iwdÖËnk eÞxZ qiw eÞbmêd KËk, gþçZ: AwÁwpz ouKiêmylxbMËKB hwlgwËod|  
Those who spend [in Allâh’s Cause - deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good­doers).  
 
  وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ  (180
Awlöwpz ZwËbkËK xdËRk AdÖMÞËp jw bwd KËkËQd ZwËZ jwkw KÚeYZw KËk GB Kweêdø ZwËbk Rdø iŠlKk pËg gËl Zwkw Ìjd cwkYw dw KËk| gkv GUw ZwËbk eËq GKwìæB qxZKk eÞxZedí pËg| jwËZ Zwkw Kweêdø KËk Ìo oiþæ cd-oóebËK xKtwiËZk xbd ZwËbk Mlwt Ìgry gwxdËt ekwËdw pËg| Awk Awlöwpz pËâQd Awoiwd I jiyËdk eki o£òwxcKwky| Awk jw xKQÖ ÌZwikw Kk; Awlöwpz Ìo oóeËKê RwËdd|  
And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allâh has bestowed on them of His Bounty (Wealth) think that it is good for them (and so they do not pay the obligatory Zakât). Nay, it will be worse for them; the things which they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allâh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allâh is Well­Acquainted with all that you do.  
 
[4] Surah An-Nisaa (oÔkw Awd xdow)
  الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا  (37
jwkw xdËRkwI Kweêdø KËk Ggv AdøËKI KÚeYZw xmqw Ìbt Awk ÌMwed KËk Ìo og xgnt jw AwÁwpz Zw’Awlw ZwËbkËK bwd KËkËQd Èyt AdÖMÞËp-gþçZ: ÐZky KËk ÌkËLxQ KwËfkËbk Rdø Aeiwd RdK Awjwg|  
Those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness on other men and hide what Allâh has bestowed upon them of His Bounties. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment.  
 
  وَالَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَـاء النَّاسِ وَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَن يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاء قِرِينًا  (38
Awk Ìo oiþæ ÌlwK jwkw gøt KËk Èyt cd-oóeb ÌlwK-ËbLwËdwk DË¥Ëm Ggv jwkw AwÁwpzk Dek Ciwd AwËd dw, Ciwd AwËd dw ÌKtwiZ xbgËok eÞxZ Ggv mtZwd jwk oway pt Ìo pl xdKÚÄZk oway|  
And (also) those who spend of their substance to be seen of men, and believe not in Allâh and the Last Day [they are the friends of Shaitân (Satan)], and whoever takes Shaitân (Satan) as an intimate; then what a dreadful intimate he has!  
 
  وَمَاذَا عَلَيْهِمْ لَوْ آمَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّهُ وَكَانَ اللّهُ بِهِم عَلِيمًا  (39
Awk xK-B gw qxZ pZ ZwËbk jxb Zwkw Ciwd AwdZ AwÁwpzk Dek ÌKtwiZ xbgËok Dek Ggv jxb gøt KkZ AwÁwpzz-eÞb£ xkxjK ÌaËK! AaP AwÁwpz, ZwËbk gøwewËk jawaêhwËgB AgMZ|  
And what loss have they if they had believed in Allâh and in the Last Day, and they spend out of what Allâh has given them for sustenance? And Allâh is Ever All­Knower of them.  
 
[5] Surah Al-Maidah (oÔkw Awl iwËtbwp)
  وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَآمَنتُم بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ  (12
AwÁwpz gdy-BokwCËlk KwQ ÌaËK AŠyKwk xdËtxQËld Ggv Awxi ZwËbk icø ÌaËK gwk Rd obêwk xdjÖ£ß KËkxQlwi| AwÁwp gËl xbËld: Awxi ÌZwiwËbk oËŠ AwxQ| jxb ÌZwikw dwiwj eÞxZxÅZ Kk, jwKwZ xbËZ awK, Awiwk etM¹kËbk eÞxZ xgmðwo kwL, Zw^Ëbk owpwjø Kk Ggv AwÁwpzÌK D£i eìÿwt Fd xbËZ awK, ZËg Awxi AgmøB ÌZwiwËbk ÌMwdwp bÖk KËk xbg Ggv AgmøB ÌZwiwËbkËK Dbøwd oiÔËp eÞxgÄ Kkg, ÌjMÖËlwk ZlËbm xbËt xdSxkdyoiÔp eÞgwxpZ pt| AZ:ek ÌZwiwËbk icø ÌaËK Ìj gøx£ß GkekI KwËfk pt, Ìo xdxúPZB okl ea ÌaËK xgP×øZ pËt eËr|  
Indeed Allâh took the covenant from the Children of Israel (Jews), and We appointed twelve leaders among them. And Allâh said: ”I am with you if you perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât and believe in My Messengers; honour and assist them, and lend to Allâh a good loan. Verily, I will remit your sins and admit you to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise). But if any of you after this, disbelieved, he has indeed gone astray from the Straight Path.”  
 
  إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ رَاكِعُونَ  (55
ÌZwiwËbk g¬× ÌZw AwÁwpz Z^wk koÔl Ggv iÖxidgÙëb-jwkw dwiwR KwËti KËk, jwKwZ Ìbt Ggv xgdiÛ|  
Verily, your Walî (Protector or Helper) is Allâh, His Messenger, and the believers, - those who perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and they bow down (submit themselves with obedience to Allâh in prayer).  
 
[9] Surah At-Taubah (oÔkw AwZz ZwIgwp)
  فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُواْ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَوُاْ الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ  (5
AZ:ek xdxn¦ iwo AxZgwxpZ pËl iÖmxkKËbk pZøw Kk ÌjLwËd ZwËbk ewI, ZwËbk gëby Kk Ggv AgËkwc Kk| Awk eÞËZøK N^wxUËZ ZwËbk o¬wËd I^u ÌeËZ gËo awK| xKìç jxb Zwkw ZIgw KËk, dwiwj KwËti KËk, jwKwZ Awbwt KËk, ZËg ZwËbk ea ÌQËr bwI| xdúPt AwÁwpz AxZ qiwmyl, eki btwlÖ|  
Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, then leave their way free. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  
 
  إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ فَعَسَى أُوْلَـئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ  (18
xd:oËëbËp ZwkwB AwÁwpzk ioxRb Awgwb KkËg jwkw Ciwd GËdËQ AwÁwpk eÞxZ I Ìmn xbËdk eÞxZ Ggv KwËti KËkËQ dwiwj I Awbwt KËk jwKwZ; AwÁwpz gøZyZ Awk KwDËK ht KËk dw| AZGg, Awmw Kkw jwt, Zwkw ÌpbwËtZ eÞw®Ëbk AìæhÔê£ß pËg|  
The Mosques of Allâh shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allâh and the Last Day; perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât and fear none but Allâh. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.  
 
  وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُواْ مِنْهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْاْ مِنهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ  (58
ZwËbk iËcø Gid ÌlwKI kËtËQ jwkw obKw gëUËd AwedwËK ÌbwnwkÕe KËk| Gk ÌaËK xKQÖ ÌeËl oìçÄ pt Ggv dw ÌeËl xgq׳ pt|  
And of them are some who accuse you (O Muhammad SAW) in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms. If they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if they are not given thereof, behold! They are enraged!  
 
  إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاء وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ  (60
jwKwZ pl ÌKgl fxKk, xioKyd, jwKwZ Awbwt Kwky I jwËbk xP£ AwKnêY eÞËtwRd ZwËb pK Ggv Zw bwo-iÖx£ßk RËdø-FY MÞþæËbk Rdø, AwÁwpzk eËa ÌRpwbKwkyËbk RËdø Ggv iÖowxfkËbk RËdø, GB pl AwÁwpzk xdcêwxkZ xgcwd| AwÁwpz ogêš, eÞšwit|  
As-Sadaqât (here it means Zakât) are only for the Fuqarâ’ (poor), and Al-Masâkin (the poor) and those employed to collect (the funds); and for to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islâm); and to free the captives; and for those in debt; and for Allâh’s Cause (i.e. for Mujâhidûn - those fighting in the holy wars), and for the wayfarer (a traveller who is cut off from everything); a duty imposed by Allâh. And Allâh is All-Knower, All-Wise.  
 
  وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أُوْلَـئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللّهُ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ  (71
Awk Ciwdbwk eÖkØn I Ciwdbwk dwky GËK AeËkk opwtK| Zwkw hwl Kawk xmqw Ìbt Ggv iëb ÌaËK xgkZ kwËL| dwiwj eÞxZÅw KËk, jwKwZ Ìbt Ggv AwÁwpz I Z^wk koÔËlk xdËbêm AdÖjwty Rygd jwed KËk| GËbkB Dek AwÁwpz Zw’Awlw btw KkËgd| xdúPtB AwÁwpz ekw¢ßimyl, oÖËK#mly|  
The believers, men and women, are Auliyâ’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden); they perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give the Zakât, and obey Allâh and His Messenger. Allâh will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.  
 
  فَلَمَّا آتَاهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ بَخِلُواْ بِهِ وَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ  (76
AZ:ek jLd ZwËbkËK Èyt AdÖMÞËpk iwcøËi bwd Kkw pt, ZLd ZwËZ KweêYø KËkËQ Ggv KÚZ Itwbw ÌaËK xfËk ÌMËQ Zw ÌhËŠ xbËt|  
Then when He gave them of His Bounty, they became niggardly [refused to pay the Sadaqâh (Zakât or voluntary charity)], and turned away, averse.  
 
  وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيرَةً وَلاَ كَبِيرَةً وَلاَ يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلاَّ كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ  (121
Awk Zwkw Aùe-xgþæk jw xKQ× gøt KËk, jZ eÞwìæk Zwkw AxZ¢ßi KËk, Zw ogB ZwËbk dwËi ÌlLw pt, Ìjd AwÁwpz ZwËbk KÚZKiêoiÔËpk D£i xgxdit eÞbwd KËkd|  
Nor do they spend anything (in Allâh’s Cause) - small or great - nor cross a valley, but is written to their credit, that Allâh may recompense them with the best of what they used to do (i.e. Allâh will reward their good deeds according to the reward of their best deeds which they did in the most perfect manner).  
 
[16] Surah An-Nahl (oÖkw dwpzl)
  وَاللّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الْرِّزْقِ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُواْ بِرَآدِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاء أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ  (71
AwÁwpz Zw’Awlw RygËdweKkËY ÌZwiwËbk GKRdËK AdøRËdk PwBËZ ÌmÛÄZò xbËtËQd| AZGg jwËbkËK ÌmÛÅZò Ìbtw pËtËQ, Zwkw ZwËbk Acydþÿ bwo-bwoyËbkËK Èyt RyxgKw ÌaËK Gid xKQÖ Ìbt dw, jwËZ Zwkw G xgnËt ZwËbk oiwd pËt jwËg| ZËg xK Zwkw AwÁwpzk ÌdtwiZ AÈyKwk KËk|  
And Allâh has preferred some of you above others in wealth and properties. Then, those who are preferred will by no means hand over their wealth and properties to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Do they then deny the Favour of Allâh?  
 
[21] Surah Al-Anbiyaa (oÔkw Awx¹tw)
  وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاء الزَّكَاةِ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ  (73
Awxi Z^wËbkËK ÌdZw Kklwi| Z^wkw Awiwk xdËbêm AdÖowËk ea eÞbmêd KkËZd| Awxi Z^wËbk eÛxZ Ipy dwxjl Kklwi ouKiê Kkwk, dwiwj KwËti Kkwk Ggv jwKwZ bwd Kkwk| Z^wkw Awiwk GgwbËZ gøweÙZ xQl|  
And We made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by Our Command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds, performing Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and the giving of Zakât and of Us (Alone) they were worshippers.  
 
[22] Surah Al-Hajj (oÔkw pwŒò)
  وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَافَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ كَذَلِكَ سَخَّرْنَاهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ  (36
Ggv Kw’gwk RËdø DuoMêyKÚZ DUËK Awxi ÌZwiwËbk RËdø AwÁwpzk AdøZi xdbmêd KËkxQ| GËZ ÌZwiwËbk RËdø iŠl kËtËQ| oÖZkwv owxkg¦hwËg g^wcw Agþÿwt ZwËbk jËgp Kkwk oit ÌZwikw AwÁwpzk dwi DâPwkY Kk| AZ:ek jLd Zwkw KwZ pËt eËr jwt ZLd Zw ÌaËK ÌZwikw Awpwk Kk Ggv Awpwk KkwI Ìj xKQÖ jwâTw KËk dw ZwËK Ggv Ìj jwâTw KËk ZwËK| GixdhwËg Awxi GMÖËlwËK ÌZwiwËbk gmyhÔZ KËk xbËtxQ, jwËZ ÌZwikw KÚZšZw eÞKwm Kk|  
And the Budn (cows, oxen, or camels driven to be offered as sacrifices by the pilgrims at the sanctuary of Makkah.) We have made for you as among the Symbols of Allâh, therein you have much good. So mention the Name of Allâh over them when they are drawn up in lines (for sacrifice). Then, when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat thereof, and feed the beggar who does not ask (men), and the beggar who asks (men). Thus have We made them subject to you that you may be grateful.  
 
  الَّذِينَ إِن مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ  (41
Zwkw Gid ÌlwK jwËbkËK Awxi eÙxagyËZ mx£ß-owiaêø bwd KkËl Zwkw dwiwj KwËti KkËg, jwKwZ ÌbËg Ggv ouKwËR AwËbm I AouKwËR xdËnc KkËg| eÞËZøK KËiêk exkYwi AwÁwpzk GLxZtwkhÔ£ß|  
Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) order for Iqamat-as-Salât. [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salât (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakât and they enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islâm has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Qur’ân as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allâh rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures).  
 
  وَجَاهِدُوا فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمينَ مِن قَبْلُ وَفِي هَذَا لِيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاء عَلَى النَّاسِ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ  (78
ÌZwikw AwÁwpzk RËdø mÛi ÈyKwk Kk ÌjhwËg mÛi ÈyKwk Kkw DxPZ| xZxd ÌZwiwËbkËK eQëb KËkËQd Ggv cËiêk gøwewËk ÌZwiwËbk Dek ÌKwd ovKyYêZw kwËLdxd| ÌZwikw ÌZwiwËbk xeZw BgkwpyËik cËiê KwËti awK| xZxdB ÌZwiwËbk dwi iÖoliwd ÌkËLËQd eÔËgêI Ggv GB ÌKwkAwËdI, jwËZ koÔl ÌZwiwËbk RËdø owqøbwZw Ggv ÌZwikw owqøbwZw pI iwdgi«xlk RËdø| oÖZkwv ÌZwikw dwiwj KwËti Kk, jwKwZ bwI Ggv AwlöwpzËK m£ßhwËg cwkY Kk| xZxdB ÌZwiwËbk iwxlK| AZGg xZxd KZ D£i iwxlK Ggv KZ D£i owpwjøKwky|  
And strive hard in Allâh’s Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that His Name should be superior). He has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islâmic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion, Islâm), and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham) (Islâmic Monotheism). It is He (Allâh) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Qur’ân), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform As­Salât (Iqamat-as-Salât), give Zakât and hold fast to Allâh [i.e. have confidence in Allâh, and depend upon Him in all your affairs] He is your Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.), what an Excellent Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.) and what an Excellent Helper!  
 
[24] Surah An-Nur (oÔkw Awd-dÔk)
  رِجَالٌ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاء الزَّكَاةِ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ  (37
Gid ÌlwËKkw, jwËbkËK gøgow-gwxYRø I ¢ßt-xg¢ßt AwÁwpzk oôkY ÌaËK, dwiwj KwËti Kkw ÌaËK Ggv jwKwZ eÞbwd Kkw ÌaËK xgkZ kwËL dw| Zwkw ht KËk ÌoB xbdËK, Ìjxbd Aìæk I bÙxÄoiÔp DËùU jwËg|  
Men whom neither trade nor sale diverts them from the Remembrance of Allâh (with heart and tongue), nor from performing As­Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), nor from giving the Zakât. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned (from the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection).  
 
  لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَى حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ أَن تَأْكُلُوا مِن بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ آبَائِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَانِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَامِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَالِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَالَاتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُم مَّفَاتِحَهُ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَأْكُلُوا جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُم بُيُوتًا فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةً كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُون  (61
Aˬk RËdø Ìbwn ÌdB, LË™k RËdø Ìbwn ÌdB, ÌkwMyk RËdø Ìbwn ÌdB, Ggv ÌZwiwËbk xdËRËbk RËdøI Ìbwn ÌdB Ìj, ÌZwikw Awpwk KkËg ÌZwiwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk xeZwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk iwZwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk ¸wZwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk hxMYyËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk xeZÚgøËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk fÖf×Ëbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk iwiwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌZwiwËbk LwlwËbk MÙËp Aagw ÌoB MÙËp, jwk Pwxg AwËQ ÌZwiwËbk pwËZ Aagw ÌZwiwËbk g¬×Ëbk MÙËp| ÌZwikw GKË¢ Awpwk Kk Aagw eÙaKhËg Awpwk Kk, ZwËZ ÌZwiwËbk ÌKwd Ìbwn ÌdB| AZ:ek jLd ÌZwikw MÙËp eÞËgm Kk, ZLd ÌZwiwËbk ÈRdËbk eÞxZ owlwi glËg| GUw AwÁwpzk KwQ ÌaËK KløwYit I exg¢ Ìbwtw| GixdhwËg AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbk RËdø AwtwZoiÔp xgmbhwËg gdêdw KËkd, jwËZ ÌZwikw gÖËS dwI|  
There is no restriction on the blind, nor any restriction on the lame, nor any restriction on the sick, nor on yourselves, if you eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your father’s brothers, or the houses of your father’s sisters, or the houses of your mother’s brothers, or the houses of your mother’s sisters, or (from that) whereof you hold keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin on you whether you eat together or apart. But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allâh (i.e. say: Úáíßã As-Salâmu ’Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus Allâh makes clear the Ayât (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand.  
 
[25] Surah Al-Furqan (oÔkw Awl-f×kKwd)
  وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَوَامًا  (67
Ggv Zwkw jLd gøt KËk, ZLd Ajaw gøt KËk dw KÚeYZwI KËk dw Ggv ZwËbk eìÿw pt GZbÖhËtk icøgZyê|  
And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes).  
 
[27] Surah An-Naml (oÔkw dil)
  الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ  (3
jwkw dwiwj KwËti KËk, jwKwZ eÞbwd KËk Ggv ekKwËl xdxúPZ xgmðwo KËk|  
Those who perform As­Salât (Iqâmat­as­Salât) and give Zakât and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.).  
 
[30] Surah Ar-Rum (oÔkw Awk-kÕi)
  فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ  (38
AwZíyt-ÈRdËK ZwËbk eÞweø xbd Ggv xioKyd I iÖowxfkËbkI| GUw ZwËbk RËdø D£i, jwkw AwÁwpzk oìçxÄ Kwidw KËk| ZwkwB oflKwi|  
So give to the kindred his due, and to Al­Miskîn (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allâh’s Countenance, and it is they who will be successful.  
 
  وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُو عِندَ اللَّهِ وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ  (39
iwdÖËnk cd-oóeËb ÌZwiwËbk cd-oóeb gÙx¦ ewËg, GB Awmwt ÌZwikw oÖËb jw xKQÖ bwI, AwÁwpzk KwËQ Zw gÙx¦ ewt dw| eqwìæËk, AwÁwpzk oìçxÄ lwËhk Awmwt exg¢ AìæËk jwkw xbËt awËK, AZGg, ZwkwB x§MÖY lwh KËk|  
And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other people’s property, has no increase with Allâh, but that which you give in Zakât seeking Allâh’s Countenance then those, they shall have manifold increase.  
 
[31] Surah Luqman (oÔkw ÌlwKiwd)
  الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ  (4
jwkw owlwZ KwËti KËk, jwKwZ Ìbt Ggv AwËLkwZ oóeËKê bÙs xgmðwo kwËL|  
Those who perform As­Salât (Iqamat­as- Salât) and give Zakât and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty.  
 
[36] Surah Ya-Sin (oÔkw Btwoyd)
  وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمْ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاء اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ  (47
jLd ZwËbkËK glw pt, AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbkËK jw xbËtËQd, Zw ÌaËK gøt Kk| ZLd KwËfkkw iÖxidMYËK gËl, BâQw KkËlB AwÁwpz jwËK LwItwËZ ewkËZd, Awikw ZwËK ÌKd LwItwg? ÌZwikw ÌZw þeÄ xg¸wxìæËZ exZZ kËtQ|  
And when it is said to them: ”Spend of that with which Allâh has provided you,” those who disbelieve say to those who believe: ”Shall we feed those whom, if Allâh willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error.”  
 
[41] Surah Ha-Mim (oÔkw pw-iyi ÌoRbwp)
  الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ  (7
jwkw jwKwZ Ìbt dw Ggv ekKwlËK AÈyKwk KËk|  
Those who give not the Zakât and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.  
 
[47] Surah Muhammad (oÔkw iÖpwóib)
  إِنَّمَا الحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْأَلْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ  (36
ewxaêg Rygd ÌZw ÌKgl ÌLlwcÖlw, jxb ÌZwikw xgmðwoy pI Ggv ovji Agl¹d Kk, AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbkËK ÌZwiwËbk eÞxZbwd ÌbËgd Ggv xZxd ÌZwiwËbk cd-oóeb PwBËgd dw|  
 The life of this world is but play and pastime, but if you believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), and fear Allâh, and avoid evil, He will grant you your wages, and will not ask you your wealth.  
 
  إِن يَسْأَلْكُمُوهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوا وَيُخْرِجْ أَضْغَانَكُمْ  (37
xZxd ÌZwiwËbk KwËQ cd-oóeb PwBËl AZ:ek ÌZwiwËbkËK AxZÅ KkËl ÌZwikw KweêYø KkËg Ggv xZxd ÌZwiwËbk iËdk ovKyYêZw eÞKwm KËk ÌbËgd|  
If He were to ask you of it, and press you, you would covetously withhold, and He will bring out all your (secret) ill-wills.  
 
  هَاأَنتُمْ هَؤُلَاء تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاء وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ  (38
mÖd, ÌZwikwB ÌZw Zwkw, jwËbkËK AwÁwpzk eËa gøt Kkwk Awpgwd RwdwËdw pËâQ, AZ:ek ÌZwiwËbk ÌKD ÌKD KÙeYZw KkËQ| jwkw KÚeYZw KkËQ, Zwkw xdËRËbk eÞxZB KÚeYZw KkËQ| AwÁwpz AhwgiÖ£ß Ggv ÌZwikw AhwgMÞþÿ| jxb ÌZwikw iÖL xfxkËt dwI, ZËg xZxd ÌZwiwËbk exkgËZê Adø RwxZËK eÞxZxÅZ KkËgd, Gkek Zwkw ÌZwiwËbk iZ pËg dw|  
Behold! You are those who are called to spend in the Cause of Allâh, yet among you are some who are niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his ownself. But Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants), and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away (from Islâm and the obedience of Allâh), He will exchange you for some other people, and they will not be your likes.  
 
[51] Surah Az-Zariyat (oÔkw Awj-jwxktwZ)
  وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ  (19
Ggv ZwËbk cd-oóeËb eÞwaêy I gxéËZk pK xQl|  
And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrûm (the poor who does not ask the others) ,  
 
[52] Surah At-Tur (oÔkw AwZò ZÔk)
  أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ  (40
dw Awexd ZwËbk KwËQ ewxkmÛxiK Pwd Ìj, ZwËbk Dek Rxkiwdwk ÌgwSw ÌPËe gËo?  
Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islâmic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt?  
 
[57] Surah Al-Hadid (oÔkw Awl-pwbyb)
  آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَأَنفِقُوا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ  (7
ÌZwikw AwÁwpz I Z^wk koÔËlk eÞxZ xgmðwo þÿwed Kk Ggv xZxd ÌZwiwËbkËK jwk D£kwxcKwky KËkËQd, Zw ÌaËK gøt Kk| AZGg, ÌZwiwËbk iËcø jwkw xgmðwo þÿwed KËk I gøt KËk, ZwËbk RËdø kËtËQ ipweÖkÆwk|  
Believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allâh’s Way), theirs will be a great reward.  
 
  وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِي مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَ أُوْلَئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا مِن بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوا وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ  (10
ÌZwiwËbkËK AwÁwpzk eËa gøt KkËZ xKËo gwcw Ìbt, jLd AwÁwpzB dËhwi«l I hÔi«Ëlk D£kwxcKwky? ÌZwiwËbk iËcø Ìj i~w xgRËtk eÔËgê gøt KËkËQ I ÌRpwb KËkËQ, Ìo oiwd dt| GkÕe ÌlwKËbk ijêbw gr ZwËbk AËeqw, jwk eËk gøt KËkËQ I ÌRpwb KËkËQ| ZËg AwÁwpz DhtËK KløwËYk Itwbw xbËtËQd| ÌZwikw jw Kk, AwÁwpz Ìo oóeËKê oiøK šwZ|  
And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allâh? And to Allâh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah) (with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all, Allâh has promised the best (reward). And Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.  
 
  مَن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ  (11
ÌK ÌoB gøx£ß, Ìj AwlöwpËK D£i cwk xbËg, Gkek xZxd Zwk RËdø Zw gpÖMÖËY gÙx¦ KkËgd Ggv Zwk RËdø kËtËQ oóiwxdZ eÖkÆwk|  
Who is he that will lend to Allâh a goodly loan, then (Allâh) will increase it manifold to his credit (in repaying), and he will have (besides) a good reward (i.e. Paradise).  
 
  يَوْمَ تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَسْعَى نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِم بُشْرَاكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ  (12
Ìjxbd Awexd ÌbLËgd Ciwdbwk eÖkØn I Ciwdbwk dwkyËbkËK, ZwËbk oóiÖL hwËM I WwdewËmðê ZwËbk ÌRøwxZ QÖËUwQÖxU KkËgz glw pËg: AwR ÌZwiwËbk RËdø oÖovgwb RwdíwËZk, jwk ZlËbËm dby eÞgwxpZ, ZwËZ Zwkw xPkKwl awKËg| GUwB ipwowflø|  
On the Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women their light running forward before them and by their right hands. Glad tidings for you this Day! Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever! Truly, this is the great success!  
 
  الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ  (24
jwkw KÚeYZw KËk Ggv iwdÖnËK KÚeYZwk eÞxZ Duowp Ìbt, Ìj iÖL xfxkËt Ìdt, Zwk Rwdw DxPZ Ìj, AwÁwpz AhwgiÖ£ß, eÞmvxoZ|  
Those who are misers and enjoin upon people miserliness (Allâh is not in need of their charity). And whosoever turns away (from Faith Allâh’s Monotheism), then Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.  
 
[58] Surah Al-Mujadila (oÔkw Awl-iÖRwbwlwpz)
  يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نَاجَيْتُمُ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوَاكُمْ صَدَقَةً ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ  (12
iÖxidMY, ÌZwikw koÔËlk KwËQ KwdKaw glËZ PwBËl ZueÔËgê obKw eÞbwd KkËg| GUw ÌZwiwËbk RËdø ÌmÛt: I exg¢ pItwk hwl Dewt| jxb ZwËZ oqi dw pI, ZËg AwÁwpz qiwmyl, eki btwlÖ|  
O you who believe! When you (want to) consult the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be better and purer for you. But if you find not (the means for it), then verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  
 
  أَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوَاكُمْ صَدَقَاتٍ فَإِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا وَتَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ  (13
ÌZwikw xK KwdKaw glwk eÔËgê obKw eÞbwd KkËZ hyZ pËt ÌMËl? AZ:ek ÌZwikw jLd obKw xbËZ ewkËl dw Ggv AwÁwpz ÌZwiwËbkËK iwf KËk xbËld ZLd ÌZwikw dwiwj KwËti Kk, jwKwZ eÞbwd Kk Ggv AwÁwpz I koÔËlk AwdÖMZø Kk| AwÁwpz Lgk kwËLd ÌZwikw jw Kk|  
Are you afraid of spending in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If then you do it not, and Allâh has forgiven you, then (at least) perform As-Salât (Iqâmat­as­Salât) and give Zakât and obey Allâh (i.e. do all what Allâh and His Prophet SAW order you to do). And Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.  
 
[63] Surah Al-Munafiqun (oÔkw iÖdwxfK×d)
  وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ  (10
Awxi ÌZwiwËbkËK jw xbËtxQ, Zw ÌaËK iÙZ×ø Awowk AwËMB gøt Kk| Adøawt Ìo glËg: Ìp Awiwk ewldKZêw, AwiwËK AwkI xKQ×Kwl AgKwm xbËl dw ÌKd? ZwpËl Awxi obKw KkZwi Ggv ouKiêyËbk AìæhÖê£ß pZwi|  
And spend (in charity) of that with which We have provided you, before death comes to one of you and he says: ”My Lord! If only You would give me respite for a little while (i.e. return to the worldly life), then I should give Sadaqah (i.e. Zakât) of my wealth , and be among the righteous [i.e. perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah)].  
 
[64] Surah At-Tagabun (oÔkw AwZz-ZwMwgÖd)
  فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ  (16
AZGg ÌZwikw jawowcø AwlöwpËK ht Kk, mÖd, AwdÖMZø Kk Ggv gøt Kk| GUw ÌZwiwËbk RËdø KløwYKk| jwkw iËdk Kweêdø ÌaËK iÖ£ß, ZwkwB oflKwi|  
So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can; listen and obey; and spend in charity, that is better for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are the successful ones.  
 
  إِن تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ  (17
jxb ÌZwikw AwlöwpËK D£i FY bwd Kk, xZxd ÌZwiwËbk RËdø Zw x§MÖY KËk ÌbËgd Ggv ÌZwiwËbkËK qiw KkËgd| AwÁwpzz MÖYMÞwpy, opdmyl|  
If you lend to Allâh a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allâh’s Cause) He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allâh is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing,  
 
[73] Surah Al-Muzzammil (oÔkw iÖjzjwizxil)
  إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ  (20
Awedwk ewldKZêw RwËdd, Awexd GgwbËZk RËdø b«wtiwd pd kwx¢k eÞwt bÖ’ZÙZytwvm, Acêwvm I ZÚZytwvm Ggv Awedwk oŠyËbk GKxU blI b«wtiwd pt| AwÁwpz xbgw I kwx¢ exkiwe KËkd| xZxd RwËdd, ÌZwikw Gk eÔYê xpowg kwLËZ ewk dw| AZGg xZxd ÌZwiwËbk eÞxZ qiw ekwtd pËtËQd| KwËRB ÌKwkAwËdk jZUÖK× ÌZwiwËbk RËdø opR, ZZU×K× AwgÙx£ Kk| xZxd RwËdd ÌZwiwËbk iËcø ÌKD ÌKD AoÖþÿ pËg, ÌKD ÌKD AwÁwpzk AdÖMÞp o¬wËd ÌbËm-xgËbËm jwËg Ggv ÌKD ÌKD AwÁwpzk eËa ÌRpwËb xl® pËg| KwËRB ÌKwkAwËdk jZU×K× ÌZwiwËbk RËdø opR ZZU×KÖ AwgÙx£ Kk| ÌZwikw dwiwj KwËti Kk, jwKwZ bwI Ggv AwlöwpËK D£i FY bwI| ÌZwikw xdËRËbk RËdø jw xKQÖ AËMÞ ewVwËg, Zw AwÁwpzk KwËQ D£i AwKwËk Ggv eÖkÆwk xpËoËg gxcêZkÕËe ewËg| ÌZwikw AwÁwpzk KwËQ qiweÞwaêdw Kk| xdúPt AwÁwpz qiwmyl, btwlÔÖ|  
Verily, your Lord knows that you do stand (to pray at night) a little less than two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so do a party of those with you, And Allâh measures the night and the day. He knows that you are unable to pray the whole night, so He has turned to you (in mercy). So, recite you of the Qur’ân as much as may be easy for you. He knows that there will be some among you sick, others travelling through the land, seeking of Allâh’s Bounty; yet others fighting in Allâh’s Cause. So recite as much of the Qur’ân as may be easy (for you), and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât, and lend to Allâh a goodly loan, and whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawâfil non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and ’Umrah, etc.), you will certainly find it with Allâh, better and greater in reward. And seek Forgiveness of Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.  
 
[76] Surah Ad-Dahr (oÔkw Awb-bwpzk)
  وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا  (8
Zwkw AwÁwpzk ÌeÞËi AhwgMÞþæ, GZyi I gëbyËK Awpwjê bwd KËk|  
And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive,  
 
[89] Surah Al-Fajr (oÔkw Awl-fRk)
  وَلَا تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ  (18
Ggv xioKydËK AdíbwËd ekþekËK DuowxpZ Kk dw|  
And urge not on the feeding of AlMiskîn (the poor)!  
 
[92] Surah Al-Lail (oÔkw Awl-lwtl)
  وَأَمَّا مَن بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى  (8
Awk Ìj KÚeYZw KËk I ÌgekItw pt  
But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient .  
 
  الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى  (18
Ìj AwZímÖx¦k RËdø Zwk cd-oóeb bwd KËk|  
He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification,  
 
  وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى  (19
Ggv Zwk Dek KwkI ÌKwd eÞxZbwdËjwMø AdÖMÞp awËK dw|  
And have in his mind no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return,  
 
[98] Surah Al-Baiyina (oÔkw gwBxtødwpz)
  وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاء وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ  (5
ZwËbkËK GQwrw ÌKwd xdËbêm Kkw ptxd Ìj, Zwkw L^wxU iËd GKxdÅhwËg AwÁwpzk GgwbZ KkËg, dwiwj KwËti KkËg Ggv jwKwZ ÌbËg| GUwB oxVK ciê|  
And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allâh, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât: and that is the right religion.  
 
[107] Surah Al-Ma'un (oÔkw iwDd)
  وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ  (3
Ggv xioKydËK Adí xbËZ DuowxpZ KËk dw|  
And urges not the feeding of AlMiskîn (the poor),  
 
  وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ  (7
Ggv xdZø gøgpwjê gþç AdøËK Ìbt dw|  
And refuse Al-Mâ’ûn (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.).
